The project arises from the serious problem that exists with the distances between the small towns of the area of the Marina Alta and the Hospitals of the cities where they belong within their health department.

We propose the reuse of Moorish ruins in the area, providing them with programs that arise as the project progresses. A health, a leisure and a museum program, maximize the beauty of the ruins. At them, a serie of external routes that encourage Muslim history of these peoples, and culture in general, give the user information about that visit, giving the right signals to arrive, through a series information points equipped with the latest technology.

There are different types of ruins, each with specific characteristics and different conditions in terms of conservation. We’ll apply in each case the same parameters adapted to the type. It’ll be the same solution with different shapes.

One of the main attractions of the proposal is the special interest in keeping the area, and the inclusion of the latest technologies.

In this contrast will find its charm. There is also a special interest in the materials used, as it aims that are recyclable, reusable and easily sterilized (especially in the health program).

Finally, we’ll reuse of disused agricultural roads, creating new communication infrastructures with the respective hospitals in case of emergency.
