The project is located in the Natural Park of Font Roja , and includes the following programs ( that complement existing ones and are demanded by users) :

- Accommodation

- School Classroom

- BBQ area

- Ecotienda with local products

- Maintenance Area Park Brigade

Intervention is on a existing summer chalets that are modified. As the existing building has a small size, we search resources to create mobile areas (roofing and facade modules ) , to extend the surface , and to adapt them to the occupation and the use programs. The movement of the building appears in three scales (general , partitions , furniture ) that can be seen in the top panel , along with the status bars that show surface increases according to possibilities.

We try to create a Sensory Educational Tour between the building and the park, to see them as a whole. Through projections and other devices, users can discover tipical flora and fauna ( areas are activated to be visited depending on time of year). It makes aware of how to take care of the area.

The basic structural system is the use of existing structural walls in the building, and metal structure in specific areas . Bearing walls are cut by diamond disk, moving and becoming in partition or facade.

The mobile modules appear, and they open or close depending on the occupation and the use of programs. These modules are formed, in one side, by the wall itself , and in the rest, by a prism set with metal structure and coated with wood (exterior) and gypsum panels (interior). Because these modules are overhanging , it’s decided to rest them on wheels and hang on a fixed beam, moving as a traveling cross shaft . The movement of the modules is provided by hydraulic cylinders.

The movable roofing is provided by a system of structural bars and nodes connected by silent blocs, as an articulation, with bellows joints between the panels to enable movement , and provide windtight.

Construction is completed with wooden battens with different separations overlaying the new to the old.
